Daytime tour or nighttime tour?
During daytime flights, you get crisper visibility, truer colors over lakes and parks, and easier photography.
On night flights, you see neon skylines and park lights, which are dramatic but not so great for photos. If fireworks are a must, only the long after-hours tour includes them (details below).
When in doubt, book late afternoon/sunset for warm light and, on longer routes, a gradual transition into evening.
